Falmouth Town and Helston Athletic have both been drawn at home in the second round proper of the FA Vase.

Town will welcome either Hellenic League Premier side Bishop’s Cleeve or Western League Premier Division club Shepton Mallet. Their tie was postponed on Saturday and is due to be played on Tuesday night.

The Blues have also earned a home draw and will play host to either Fareham Town of the Wessex League Premier Division or Roman Glass St George of the Western League.

There is no date yet for the second round ties, which were originally due to be played on Saturday, November 28.

This date is now not possible given the new national lockdown in England, which runs from this Thursday until December 2.

Town earned their place in Monday’s draw after winning 3-1 at home to Abingdon United in the first round on Saturday.

Helston booked their spot in the draw after defeating Cornish rivals St Blazey 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Blaise Park.

Millbrook complete the trio of Cornish clubs still in the competition. The east Cornwall side will host Bashley if they can defeat Sherborne Town in their outstanding first round tie.

Clubs will receive £900 if they win their second round ties, while losers will receive £275.

Elsewhere, Truro City will visit Southern League Division One South side Moneyfields in the first round proper of the FA Trophy should they get past Taunton Town.

City’s trip to Southern League Premier South rivals Taunton Town, who dumped them out of the FA Cup two weeks ago, was postponed on Saturday, with the tie now due to be played on Tuesday night.

City will get £3,000 if they can beat both Taunton and Moneyfields.
