Truro City will visit Metropolitan Police on the opening day of the 2019/20 Southern League Premier South season.

The White Tigers will make the trip to Imber Court on Saturday, August 10.

Met Police came within a whisker of promotion to the National League South last season, winning the Southern League Premier South play-off, but lost their Step 3 super play-off 3-2 on aggregate to Isthmian League play-off winners Tonbridge Angels.

Truro will also end their season away from their Treyew Road home, with a visit to Walton Casuals on Saturday, April 25.

The White Tigers' first match at home will be on Tuesday, August 13, when Dorchester Town visit Treyew Road.

Truro will play six league games next month, with further matches against Swindon Supermarine (H), Chesham United (A), Weston-super-Mare (H) and Farnborough (A).

Tiverton Town will be Truro's shortest trip next year, which they will make on Easter Monday, April 13. The reverse match will be on Boxing Day at Treyew Road.

It will be Truro's first season in the Southern League since winning promotion to the National League South via the Southern League Premier play-offs in 2015.

Truro were relegated from the National League South last term after finishing 20th with nine wins from 42 games.
