Falmouth Town take on Saltash United in the now traditional curtain closer of the South West Peninsula League season on Saturday – the Walter C Parson League Cup Final.

Town are aiming to defend their crown, having beaten Tavistock 4-2 in last year's final, and secure a cup double after beating Saltash 2-1 to win the Cornwall Senior Cup on Easter Monday.

The game is being held at St Blazey's Blaise Park (kick-off 2pm), but don't worry if you can't make it – the Packet has you covered.

The Packet will be running a live blog of the game to take you through each of the nerve-shredding 90 minutes, documenting the goals, chances and drama as it unfolds. Kick-off is at 2pm but the live text coverage will be underway from 11am.

The coverage doesn't stop at full-time, though. A match report will be online later on in the afternoon and will be accompanied by a photo gallery of action shots, crowd pics and celebratory snaps.

Supporters unable to make it to the game - and indeed those who did make it and want to relive the day's drama - will be able to enjoy our video of the day, which will go beyond the standard highlights package and aims to encapsulate the whole occasion: from the tension of the pre-match build-up to the excitement in the stands, from the joy and/or anger in the dugouts to the trophy being lifted.

There will also be a, hopefully happy, post-match interview with a representative(s) of Falmouth Town so you can get a feel of the day's events from some of those closest to the action.

If, once the initial excitement has died down, you still find yourself wanting more, then there will also be a more considered report of the game to tuck into on Monday, which will take another look back at the final from a Falmouth perspective.

To recap:

  • Live text coverage of the match from 11am - with kick-off at 2pm.
  • Match report with photo gallery after full-time
  • Post-match video interview with Town member(s) on Sunday
  • Video package documenting the day's highs and lows on Sunday
  • Falmouth-led reflective report on Monday

And it is all on the Packet website.
