CHARD Angling Club members fished round four of the reservoir league on Sunday.
Despite conditions being quite bright the bream and skimmers showed in numbers. Dennis Stepney was the top angler on the day with 52lb 8oz, his travelling partner Chris Whitefield was only 5oz behind with 52lb 3oz for second place.
Mike Hosgood took third place with another bream catch of 47lb 4oz. Steve Chant completed the frame with nine bream for 39lb 13oz from the dam wall.
Section wins went to Mark Leahy with 37lb from the dam wall, Scott Russell with 37lb 8oz of roach from peg 35 and Brendon Ions with 31lb 8oz. The next match is on October 4 and the draw is at the car park at 9.30am.
