SOUTH Petherton footballer Jordan Storey is looking to retain his place in Preston North End’s starting line-up, as they host Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm).

Defender Storey played for South Petherton, Chard Town and Mere Town before being picked up by Exeter City, and was signed by Championship outfit Preston in 2018.

The 23-year-old has made 10 appearances so far this season, and this month he helped his side win 3-0 over Championship leaders Reading.

This weekend’s opponents have just appointed ex-Stoke City, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis as their new manager, in place of Garry Monk.
