Here are our player ratings from Reading's 3-2 defeat against Coventry City at St Andrew's.

Rafael - 3

Could do little about Coventry's opener, which was a great effort. His distribution was really poor at times however, giving the ball away very cheaply. Had to do better for Coventry's third, which he should've saved.

Tomas Esteves - 5

Got into some good positions going forward. Left a few gaps which were exploited.

Omar Richards - 5

Good in the first half, causing problems on the overlap and produced some key challenges throughout.

Michael Morrison - 5

A little sloppy in possession at times - being rushed into losing out. Needed to get tighter to his man.

Liam Moore - 4

Reading's defence looked uncharacteristically chaotic at points at Moore needed to do more to keep the structure. Brave in the challenge, unfortunately to his detriment in the end as he went off injured.

Andy Rinomhota - 4

Allowed a little bit too much space for the hosts in the midfield. Faded as the game went on.

Josh Laurent - 4

Looked a little off the pace, in comparison to what we've seen in recent weeks. Needed to do a bit more to link the play between defence and attack.

Alfa Semedo - 4

Slow to close down his man for two of the goals and looked somewhat labored on the ball. Not quick enough to get his head up and release the ball.

Michael Olise - 4

Got out of a few tight spots with good control but didn't really ever produced much at the end of it. Also, set-pieces were poor.

Sone Aluko - 3

Slipped at the key moment in the first half after Dabo made a mistake. Plenty of running but his distribution was poor.

Lucas Joao - 7

Spurned a fantastic opportunity to open the scoring in the first half but did really well to make amends with a superb equaliser. Otherwise his hold up play was pretty good and he got an assist for Puscas' goal.

SUBS

George Puscas - 6

Took his late goal really well with an emphatic finish.

Tom McIntyre - 5

Came on in place of Liam Moore.
