TAUNTON Town are gearing up for yet another meeting with South West rivals Truro City tomorrow (3pm).

The teams have already played twice this season - drawing at Truro in the league, and Taunton winning at home in the FA Cup.

This time it’s a FA Trophy third round qualifying tie, which is to be played at Taunton’s Cygnet Heath Care Stadium.

The Peacocks will be without the suspended Jake Wannell, but his fellow centre-back Ben Adelsbury should be fit to play, having been rested as a precaution against Dorchester on Tuesday night.

New signing Jack Goodall, a 22-year-old right-back recruited from fellow Premier South side Weston-super-Mare, will be looking to keep his place in the team, having made his debut on Tuesday.

Since their FA Cup defeat at Taunton on October 13, Truro have had one defeat (3-1 at Hayes & Yeading United) and two wins (3-2 at Swindon Supermarine, then 4-1 at home to Wimborne Town).

Peacocks boss Rob Dray said: “Truro have got their injuries out of the way, so they will be very strong.

"But these are 100 per cent the sort of games our players want to be playing in."
