Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has set up a YouTube channel, where he will be sharing football and cycling videos, as he looks towards his life after football.

The Cycling GK channel has now officially been launched and viewers can expect initially to see a mixture of behind the scenes videos from Watford, while in the future the 37-year-old has plans for some cycling trips around the world.

Speaking about his channel last week, Foster said the coronavirus pandemic had given him plenty of time to think about what he wants to do after his retirement and that he has a lot of plans for it moving forward.

"I've thought a lot more about it (what to do after retirement)," he said. "The cycling for me is a huge part of my life. I absolutely love it. I'm actually setting up a YouTube channel where I'm going to start getting it in now where I can do a few sort of football videos, behind the scenes this, that or whatever and integrate a lot of cycling into it as well.

"All I ever do on YouTube is I get into wormholes of cycling videos, either cooking or cycling videos. I just get down a horribly long rabbit hole, thinking 'I could do this, I want to do this', so I'm going to do this.

"When I finish football, I want to do so many things on the bike, massive cycling trips, bike packing trips, in Spain, Italy, the Alps that kind of thing. I want to do it in a way that appeals to the general cyclist. I'm not trying to be a pro cyclist, I'm not good, fit or strong enough. I want to do it where I'm doing it on the bike then having a pint in the bar later on. I think that's the way to go for it, that really appeals to people, that's what I want to see and I don't think there's many people doing it."
