THE Uhlsport Somerset County League has released its fixtures for the 2020/21 season, which is scheduled to start on Saturday, September 12 and run through to May 15, 2021.
Premier Division sides Chard Town and Ilminster Town are both away for their opening games on September 12.
Chard are due to visit Chilcompton Sports, while Ilminster head to Watchet Town (both 3pm kick-offs).
Combe St Nicholas are also away on the opening Saturday of the season, as they go to Bishops Lydeard Reserves in Division 3.
Chard’s first home match is the following Saturday (September 19), as they welcome Westfield to Zembard Lane, while Ilminster’s first home fixture is not until the Saturday after (September 26), when they play Chilcompton.
Combe’s first home game is on Saturday, October 10, with Congresbury the opposition.
The derby matches between Chard and Ilminster are scheduled to take place on Boxing Day (December 26, at Chard) and Easter Saturday (April 3, 2021, at Ilminster) this season.
