ILMINSTER Town Ladies saw defeat snatched from the jaws of victory at Middlezoy Rovers in the South West Women’s League Premier Division on Sunday.

Charlie Pettinger’s fifth-minute goal from Colette Martin’s corner handed the Blues a lead which they held until the closing stages.

Zoy equalised in the 89th minute, however, and still had time to net a winner in the first minute of injury time to turn the game on its head.

It was Ilminster’s first defeat of the season and leaves them fourth.

This Sunday sees the two sides meet again, with Ilminster hosting Middlezoy.
