TAUNTON Titans will look to bounce back from a chastening defeat last weekend as they welcome Old Albanian to the Towergate Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

Taunton were beaten 68-31 by National 2 South title favourites Tonbridge Juddians last Saturday, the Titans’ first defeat of the season after four straight wins had started their campaign.

They did pick up a try bonus point from the encounter and sit third in the table going into this weekend’s game against a side who have had an inconsistent start.

Old Albanian are sixth, having won all three of their home matches but lost both their away games so far.

Taunton did the double over this weekend’s opponents last season, winning 35-21 in St Albans before a narrow 10-8 triumph at Hyde Park in February.

Taunton Titans XV to face Old Albanian: 1. Alex Rodd; 2. George Gosling. 3. Isaac Dalton; 4. Brett Harvey; 5. Barry Chapman; 6. Charlie Williams; 7. Ratu Vakalutukali; 8. Dan Lee; 9. Lewis Webb; 10. Gary Kingdom; 11. Oli Down; 12. Tom Popham; 13. Nick Mason; 14. Jack Arnott; 15. Thomas Wyatt. Replacements: Alex Spurdle, Connor Baker, Andy England, Ben Oliphant-Thompson, James Tait

Elsewhere this Saturday, Wellington host Penryn and Wiveliscombe welcome Teignmouth in Western Counties (West).
