UNBEATEN Taunton Titans have been warned to expect their toughest test of the season to date when Henley Hawks visit the Towergate Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

Henley have also taken maximum points from their first three matches and sit top going into the weekend, having finished fourth – one place above Taunton – last season.

Titans head coach Tony Yapp said: “Every week has brought a different challenge but this will definitely be the toughest so far.

“I have seen them on video this week and they look stronger than last year.

“Last season, our record against the top four sides wasn’t good, so this is a chance for us to make sure we improve on that early on this time around.”

Julian Salvi, Ratu Vakalutukali and Aron Struminski return for the Titans this weekend, but Dan Lee and Tom Popham miss out.

Taunton Titans team to face Henley: Connor Baker, Alex Spurdle, Isaac Dalton; Cory Teague, Barry Chapman; Charlie Williams, Julian Salvi, Ben Oliphant-Thompson; James Tait, Lewis Webb; Freddie Fraser, Nick Mason; Aron Struminski, Jack Arnott, Gary Kingdom. Replacements: George Gosling, Alex Rodd, Andy England, Ratu Vakalutukali, Oli Down

Elsewhere on Saturday, Wiveliscombe host St Austell and Wellington welcome Kingsbridge in the Western Counties West division.

In Somerset Premier, Minehead Barbarians travel to Weston Hornets 2nds.
