Harrow Borough 1, Taunton Town 1

TAUNTON Town saw debutant Nick Grimes receive a late red card but emerged with a point from their trip to unbeaten Harrow Borough.

Town dominated the first period and, after several chances had gone begging, opened the scoring on 39 minutes when Ben Adelsbury turned home Grimes' cross.

The lead did not last long into the second half, however, as George Moore fired home from 20 yards four minutes after the break.

Lloyd Irish was called into action on several occasions thereafter, including a fine double save to keep the game level, while Lewis Smith hit the post for the hosts.

Grimes, who this week completed his move up the M5 from Tiverton Town, enjoyed an accomplished debut before seeing red for a professional foul in injury time but Town held on for a share of the spoils.

Next Saturday sees Town in FA Cup first qualifying round action at either AFC Stoneham or Winchester City.
