BURNHAM United are going for back-to-back wins as they head to Nailsea & Tickenham Reserves on Bank Holiday Monday (ko 3pm).

United were beaten for just the second time in nine matches last Saturday, going down 1-0 at Uphill Castle.

But they bounced back in some style on Tuesday night, hammering Hengrove Athletic Reserves 7-0 at Cassis Close.

Joe Selway led the way by scoring a hat-trick, with Mike Stevens (2), Jaymie Whitehouse and Elliot Keen also on target.

Sitting 13th in the Somerset County League Division 1 table, Burnham will look to close the gap to 12th-placed Nailsea (who are four points ahead) tomorrow.

In Division 3, Burnham United Reserves host Winscombe Reserves tomorrow and Stockwood Green Reserves on Bank Holiday Monday (both 3pm).

Burnham United A, meanwhile, round off their Weston-super-Mare & District League Division 3 season at Lodway tomorrow.

A win could lift United to fifth.
