RAMBLERS won their second Bridgwater & District Sunday League trophy in as many weeks as they defeated West Bower 2-1 in the Bill Brown Cup final at Fairfax Park on Sunday afternoon.
Having beaten New Foresters by the same scoreline the previous Sunday to lift the Dave Hobbs Cup, Ramblers continued their good form and scored the winner in the second half after the game was locked at 1-1 at the break.
The result exacted some form of revenge on West Bower, who won the Division 1 title after finishing two points clear of Ramblers; Corey Hucker scored Bower's goal.
New Foresters, meanwhile, bounced back from their Dave Hobbs Cup disappointment to defeat Puriton 2-0 in the Geoff Harvey Cup final on Sunday morning.
Brad Walford was the Foresters hero, scoring both goals for his side to win them the silverware.
Around 250 supporters came through the gate across the two matches.
