TAUNTON Junior Volleyball Club's Under-18 ladies enjoyed a strong start to 2019, with two wins in the South West League.
They saw off Cardiff Celts and Bedminster without dropping a set, winning both matches 3-0 at Richard Huish College on Sunday.
Each team member played well, and the results reflect the years of commitment and hard work put in by the players and coach Jurek Jankowski.
Taunton now lie second in the league, behind Cheltenham and Gloucester, and they are back in action tomorrow (Saturday).
This time they are competing in the second round of the Under-18 National Cup at Petroc College, Barnstaple, where they will face teams from Richmond, Ashcombe, Cardiff and Petroc Beach Academy.
