THE amount of misleading information being spread around the coronavirus is concerning - and dangerous.
Even on your own website, you cannot escape comments from people claiming ‘masks don’t work’, or that the coronavirus is in some way ‘fake’, and numerous other conspiracy theories.
We all have a duty to do what we can to stop the spread of this disease, which is on the rise again, there’s no doubt about it.
And it is still killing people, or leaving them with very severe illnesses. Again, there is no doubt about that.

Yet the ignorance continues unabated, on social media and in the comment sections of websites like yours.
I urge you to what you can to prevent the spread of such dangerous information - and I urge those spreading it to do some real research - using trusted sources - and to adapt their behaviour accordingly.
For Covid-19 is not a joke, it is not a hoax, it is not the flu - it is very, very dangerous.
