CHRISTMAS is four months away but it is not too early to start thinking about filling a box of gifts and goodies if you wish to support Christian Response to Eastern Europe (cr2ee), as many local people have done in recent years.
Due to the unprecedented times we continue to be in, considering sending a box of Christmas presents to Moldova may be the last thing on your mind but life there has been horrendous.
Their harvest was very poor. Family members who work abroad and send money to help their families have had to return home due to Covid-19 so they have faced severe financial problems for the most basic necessities.
Will you consider helping to brighten their Christmas?
Boxes can be any size and for any age. They should be wrapped in festive paper with a label saying sex and age.
Another option is to fill a larger box for a family.
All items must be new. No books with English words or war-related toys please.
If you can deliver to us before the end of October that would be great but please phone 07773 579809 if you like would any help or advice.
We can also be contacted on jbawler1947@hotmail.co.uk
With grateful thanks for your continuing support for Europe's poorest country.
