WESTON-super-Mare businessman Harry Parslow has been shortlisted for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year title in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Harry set up TourLife five years ago aged just 18 and recently expanded into a new office at Weston Gateway Business Park.

TourLife, which provides a tour management service for live performances, works with high profile music artists globally, including Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and American rapper Xzibit.

As well as providing videography, photography, streaming services and merchandise for live performances, the company also produces corporate videos for businesses locally.

Last year, it won a contract to provide live streaming of church services, which created new opportunities during lockdown.

Harry said: “It is great to be a finalist for this prestigious award, alongside some really impressive names.

“Having grown up in Somerset, I’m very proud to be running a business from Weston.

"I’ve always believed in doing everything in-house, so we’ve grown a great team here and have focused on re-investing in the company.

"These have been challenging times for the music industry and over the coming months I will be focusing on trying to help independent artists in any way I can.

“At such a tough time for the industry, it is great to have been recognised by being shortlisted for this award.”

Harry gets financial advice from Thomas Westcott chartered accountants manager Heather Davis, based in Weston-super-Mare.

She said: “I’m very proud to have worked with Harry since the early days of TourLife and it is really great to see him being a finalist for this award.

“Harry has always known what he wants to achieve and, being so driven, he doesn’t let his young age get in the way.

"It has been fantastic to see him grow his business over the last few years. His tenacity has really paid off in recent months as the business has been able to adapt to significant new challenges during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Held across the UK, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards support and champion British entrepreneurs. This year’s winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on September 23.
