A BALER was damaged after an accidental fire in Yeovil.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 5.43pm on Thursday (July 23) by a member of the public reporting a baler on fire.
One fire engine from Wincanton, one fire engine from Castle Cary, and one water carrier from Yeovil were sent to the incident.
"On arrival crews confirmed there was a small fire in the baler," the spokesperson said.
"Using one hose reel jet, they were able to extinguish the fire and then used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
"Crews confirmed approximately 5 per cent damage to the baler and the fire is believed to be accidental."
