A FORMER Highbridge student is on a fast track to a top career in conservation.
Eve Croxford, a former student at The King Alfred School Academy, didn't achieve any A grades at GCSE level during her time at the school but went on to achieve three Agrades in A level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology with the school's Sixth Form in 2017.
Eve began to study zoology at The University of Sheffield three years ago, while also being passionate about outreach and conservation education.
She has enjoyed an incredible year as a Research and Outreach Intern at The Cambodian Marine Mammal Conservation Project.
Jonathan Gaskell, head of sixth form at The King Alfred School Academy, said: “Eve worked incredibly hard in the sixth form and she's a great ambassador for us. Above all, Eve's story is about working hard, taking your chances and following your passions.”
