FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a kitchen fire in Chard.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 11.46am today (April 26) to reports of a domestic fire in a kitchen at a property in Bubwith Road, Chard.
Two fire engines from Chard and one fire engine from Ilminster attended the incident.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one thermal image camera and a CO2 extinguisher.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The fire caused slight smoke and flame damage to the cooker and is believed to have been caused accidentally."
