A MAIN road which links Taunton to North Petherton and Bridgwater is set to be closed for two weeks - ending just as a year-long closure of another road begins.
The A3259 will be closed from March 30 until April 14 - the same day the year-long closure of the Creech Castle junction turning towards Bridgwater is set to come into place.
The closure is in place along Monkton Heathfield Road, from the junction with Doster's Lane, for around 300metres.
During the closure, BT Openreach will be carrying out ducting installation.
The closure runs until April 14, when another main road leading out of Taunton will also be closed.
Somerset County Council is set to begin its £8million upgrade of the Creech Castle junction, which will see traffic barred from turning towards or out from Bridgwater Road northbound for one year.
