A NUMBER of Bridgwater's independent businesses have been taking part in Fiver Fest, a campaign to bring footfall back into the High Street.
The event was organised by the Bridgwater Town Team to help celebrate the high proportion of independent businesses and retailers in the town.
The businesses who took part each put on an offer for £5, and would advertise the deals, helping each other benefit from the promotion.
The businesses in Bridgwater that took part included Jools, The Snug Bookshop and Cafe, Strings and Things, Tim's Cameras, 36 Eastover Bicycle Shop, Insane Games, Inspirational Craft and Bridgwater Fancy Dress.
The next Fiver Fest will be held in Bridgwater from June 6 to 13, and businesses interested in taking part should contact the Bridgwater Town Team by emailing mandy@daisyadmin.
