DAMAGED: The Taart Cafe, in North Petherton
A CAFE is closed today (Friday) after a car smashed through a window of the premises.
The owners of the Taart Cafe, in Fore Street, North Petherton, say no-one was hurt in the incident, although a bay window and table were destroyed.

In a social media post they say: "Well lovely people unfortunately this table and bay window are no longer.......due to a car accident very early this morning.
"Thankfully no-one was hurt, but it does mean that we will be closed today.
"We will be open as usual from tomorrow, Saturday the 1st Feb......look forward to seeing you all soon."
