A MAN has fractured his eye socket and cheekbone after a crash in Somerset.
Avon and Somerset Police is now looking for witnesses to the crash, which took place in Yeovil on Sunday, January 12.
The incident, involving a pedestrian and a car, happened at around 9pm near to St Michael and All Angels Church, in St Michael's Avenue.
A police spokesperson said: "A grey Skoda Octavia was in collision with a 40-year-old male pedestrian who needed treatment at Yeovil District Hospital for a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.
"The driver remained at the scene to speak with police officers."
