NORTH Petherton Rugby Club’s new gym is now open.
The new gym, partly funded by money from the Hinkley C Community Impact Mitigation fund, officially opened to the public on Thursday, January 2.
The new gym includes state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and is designed for use by the whole community.
Its offer includes instructor-based classes, circuit sessions, classes for over 65s, mum and baby sessions, high intensity interval training and boxercise classes.
Sharon Sweet of North Petherton RFC said: “It has taken a lot of time and hard work but we now have a great affordable community facility here to help people’s health and wellbeing.”
It offers plenty of options for those planning to do more exercise and live healthier, more active lifestyles in 2020.
