AN appeal has been launched after a break-in at an opticians in Wells.
The incident happened between 9.35-9.45pm at the High Street shop on Sunday, January 5.
Police said entry was forced into the building and various items were taken.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police, said they are keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident.
"The suspects are reported to be two men, who were wearing balaclavas, black jackets and lighter coloured jogging bottoms," the spokesperson said.
"They are thought to have been carrying a bag of some sort.
"We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two men – matching the description – in the area either before or after the incident was reported to have taken place.
