THE nominations have closed the candidates vying to be MP for Wells have officially been announced.
In alphabetical order, those hoping to get your vote on Thursday, December 12 are:
Dave Dobbs - Independent
James Heappey - The Conservative Party Candidate
Kama Mckenzie - The Labour Party Candidate
Tessa Munt - The Liberal Democrat Party Candidate
Susie Quartermass - The Motherwell Party Candidate
A spokesman for Mendip District Council, said: "Poll cards should be delivered showing your polling station or details of your postal vote around November 20.
"Please be aware that due to the short notice nature of this election, and the proximity to Christmas, some of the normal venues used for polling may not be available, and alternatives will need to be found.
"Please check your poll card carefully, as the polling station may have changed."
