MANY Bridgwater residents gathered to pay their respects to those who gave their lives in the Second World War in a moving ceremony on Monday.
People headed to King Square in Bridgwater to observe a two-minute silence and to listen and watch the special commemorative service led by the Rev Trish Ollive, from St Mary’s Church.
Bridgwater also held a Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday, led by the the local Sea Cadets.
