ENJOY witty comedy from three Hormonal Housewives - Suzanna Shaw, Julie Coombe and Josephine Partridge to be precise - at the McMillan Theatre in Bridgwater next month.

Hormonal Housewives is a witty, topical three hander comedy sketch show co-written by Scottish comedian and playwright Julie Coombe and her husband, playwright/director John MacIsaac.

They performed at a mammoth 64 venues across the UK during April, May and June. The show blasted its way through a catalogue of popular women’s bits: weight gain, weight loss, mood swings, housework, homework, electrolysis, men, sex, internet dating, chocolate and more.

Julie, co-writer and performer, said: “The audience reaction on the spring tour was quite overwhelming. We met so many inspirational women who wanted to share their stories with us after the show; stories that had us in fits of laughter and stories that had us tears.

"Our fantastic new housewife, Suzanne Shaw, brings loads to the party. I am utterly delighted to be working with Josephine again too and looking forward to meeting more amazing women around the UK.”

Suzanne added: “I’m really looking forward to the tour of Hormonal Housewives. One of the many things that appealed to me about doing the show was being able to tailor my part to fit around my own real life stories!”
