NAMED: Jeffery Smith died following a crash on the A38 in Brent Knoll
A MAN who died in a fatal crash on the A38 has been named.
Jeffery Smith, 35, of Highbridge died on September 17 after he was struck by a car on the A38 at Brent Knoll at 4.15am on September 17.
Despite paramedics best efforts Mr Smith was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Senior coroner Tony Williams, said he has opened an inquest into Mr Smith's death.
