A PERFORMANCE of dynamic mainstream jazz will light up Ilminster Arts Centre on Friday, September 27 when three top jazz musicians join the Craig Milverton Trio on stage.

Together with Craig’s trio, special guests Enrico Tomasso, Jim Mullen and Christian Brewer will be playing modern/mainstream jazz standards in a dynamic vein, along with some of their own compositions.

Jim Mullen is a multi-award winning guitarist, was has played with Oblivion Express, Kokomo and later toured with the Average White Band.

Enrico Tomasso started playing the trumpet at the age of five. His father, the jazz clarinettist Ernie Tomasso, gave young Enrico every opportunity to meet and hear great musicians such as Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie and Louis Armstrong, whom Enrico met and played for during Louis’ visits to England in the sixties.

Christian Brewer has, over a 20-year period, established himself both in the UK and abroad as a musician of formidable repute.
