A BURNHAM-on-Sea man has gone for the chop in a bid to raise £1,000 for a local charity.
Jake Taylor had his head shaved by Michael Fisher (Big Tony) at Lowe's Barber Shop in High Street, Burnham, last week and is already half way towards his fundraising goal.
The money which Jake raises will go to mental health charity In Charley's Memory and The Little Princess Foundation.
Jake said: “For every donation no matter how big or small I will be extremely grateful.
"I understand that not everyone can donate but even if you could give this a share that would be fantastic. Hair grows back but lives don't.
“Huge thanks to Big Tony for shaving my head and helping us towards our goal!”
