SOMERSET could be hit by thunderstorms this evening and into tomorrow, according to the Met Office.
As the county endures sweltering temperatures, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for storms which runs from 6pm this evening (July 23) until 9am on Wednesday.
"Scattered thunderstorms moving north tonight and early Wednesday could lead to some power cuts and travel delays," a forecaster said.
Meanwhile, temperatures continue to rise in Somerset, with forecasters warning thermometers could reach 31C on Tuesday.
