WES Brown, Keith Gillespie and Frank Stapleton are among the Manchester United Legends on their way to Bridgwater later this month, for a charity match at Fairfax Park.

The Man Utd Legends versus Hinkley Point C XI match will take place on Saturday, July 27 (ko 3pm), at the home of Bridgwater Town FC.

The game is being held in support of mental health charity MIND Somerset, and Bridgwater Town are hopeful of breaking their all-time attendance record, set in 1997.

The club has now been advised of the Man Utd Legends squad, which features Champions League winner Brown and three-time FA Cup winner Stapleton.

The full squad is as follows:
Arthur Albiston, Russell Beardsmore, Derek Brazil, Wes Brown, Nick Culkin, Chris Eagles, Keith Gillespie, Deniol Graham, Lee Hendrie, Frank Stapleton, Ben Thornley, Danny Webber

There were more than 120 applications to be in the HPC squad, but that has been reduced below 30 and they will be captained by Bridgwater Town's all-time leading goalscorer Chris Young.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for Under-16s, and they are available online here.

Tickets are also expected to be available on the day (priced at £12/£6), but this cannot be guaranteed.
