AN exhibition that showcases the talent of artists and makers is at Ilminster Arts Centre until June 8.
The show, ‘Creative Collective’, runs from May 20 - June 8, and offers visitors the chance to browse and buy from a tempting range of works.
You can see potter Andrew Eddleston’s beautiful, usable wares, jewellery by silversmith Jo Moorshead and textiles by Kate Westcott, whose textile screen prints are perfect for adorning tables and walls.
You might also want to make house room for one of Jo Eddleston’s fused and painted glass panels, delicate embroidery by Shuya Cheng, or a stunning seascape painting by Karen George.
Lila Streether’s botanical studies celebrate plants and insects, Martin Rumary’s paintings capture British birds and their habitats. Terry Bridgeman’s impressionistic treescapes and Lise MacDermott’s skillful stencil compositions complete this varied and packed exhibition.
With such a range of beautiful pieces, this is an exhibition you will want to visit.
