Chimney fire in Stogursey
CHIMNEY rods and a stirrup pump were used to extinguish a chimney fire in Burgage Road, Stogursey, this evening (April 2).
One fire appliance from Nether Stowey attended the incident involving a Rayburn after crews were called at 5.45pm.
Crews checked the flue and loft space using a thermal imaging camera after the fire was put out.
Duty of care was left with the occupier.
