FIRE crews were called to a kitchen fire in Tiverton.
Two engines from Tiverton and one from Bampton were called to Leofric Road around 12.20pm this afternoon.
On arrival the crews confirmed there was a fire in the kitchen of the property and got to work using two breathing apparatus wearers with a hose reel jet.
There were 2 people suffering from smoke inhalation and an ambulance was asked to attend as a precaution.
The fire was extinguished using the above equipment and had been involving a mini oven within the kitchen.
The property obtained slight smoke damage from the fire and the mini oven was severely damaged.
