AN internationally renowned poet and human rights activist is visiting Plymouth on Monday, May 14.
Niyi Osundare will be reading from his work at the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth as part of the university's visiting writers programme attached to its creative writing degree programme.
The Nigerian-born award winning African poet has been recognised for his poetry and now lives in New Orleans where he is Professor of English at the University of New Orleans.
The reading at the Barbican Theatre on 14 May is free and open to members of the public.
There will be a question and answer session and book signing after the reading.
