Thousands of people lined the streets of Falmouth last night to see the first Red Arrows display in the town for ten years.
As part of Falmouth Week, the legendary pilots zoomed across Penryn River, Customs House Quay and Falmouth docks, dazzling audiences with their formations and leaving a trail of red, blue and white smoke.
Because of the low cloud cover over Falmouth, the Reds were reduced to a “flat” display but that did not stop them producing oohs and aahs from the crowds, who were in their masses across Falmouth and over the river Fal in Flushing.
See a video of the Red Arrows’ display on the link and for more photographs and a full report, see the Packet next Wednesday.
