FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze in a bungalow early on Monday morning.

Crews from St Just and Penzance were sent to the scene and they found a bungalow alight and requested two more fire engines, one from Hayle and another from Penzance, to be sent to the property, along with a specialist breathing apparatus support vehicle from Falmouth.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The fire was in the kitchen and spreading to the roof and firefighters used four breathing apparatus, main jet and hosereel to extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to accidental."
