A MAN has had his community order extended after failing to comply with it.

Oliver Raymond Luke, 18, of Loscombe House, Four Lanes, was found to have failed to comply with the community order imposed on February 7, 2020, without reasonable excuse.

He failed to report for unpaid work on February 15.

The original order was varied by magistrates in Truro, with 30 additional hours of unpaid work imposed, for a total of 110 hours to be completed with 12 months.

A MAN broke a restraining order by continually calling a person that he was prohibited to do so.

Truro magistrates heard that David Anthony Williams, 31, of no fixed abode, broke the order between July 1, 2019, and September 4, 2019, and then again between December 1, 2019, and March 23, 2020.

He was committed to prison for 10 weeks for the first breach and a further 11 weeks, to run consecutively, for the second.

Williams was also ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.

Cornwall's magistrates' courts are currently only dealing with urgent applications and overnight prisoners.
