A FALMOUTH man has been sent to prison after admitting actual bodily harm and common assault on a policeman.
Alex Burgoyne, aged 26, of no fixed address, but previously from Falmouth, appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday.
The offences related to an incident in Truro on January 31. The defendant had pleaded guilty to the charges via prison link earlier this month.
Burgoyne, who has a long history of committing crime, was given a 13-month prison term by Judge Robert Linford.
He was also made the subject of a five-year restraining order, banning him from contacting the victim.
