A child has been injured in a crash in Helston this lunchtime.
Emergency services were called at 1pm following a collision between a car and an HGV on the B3297 at Clodgey Lane.
A police spokesperson said: "A seven-year-old child, a passenger in the car, is reported to have sustained injuries, not thought to be life-threatening or changing."
The child was taken to hospital by ambulance. Neither the driver of the car or the HGV are believed to be injured.
The police spokesperson added: "Highways have been called due to oil and debris on the road. Vehicle recovery has also been called."
The road was subsequently reopened at around 3.30pm.
