The editor of a community magazine on the Lizard Peninsula is stepping down after ten years on the job - and now needs new volunteers to come forward to keep it going.

The March edition of The Meneage Messenger will be the last from Wendy Bailey.

She gave notice last year and the magazine's steering group is now looking to replace her with an editorial team of up to four people willing to share the task.

This would mean that no one person would need to commit to editing the magazine every month.

The 16-page community publication covers the Meneage parishes of Manaccan, St Anthony, St Martin and Mawgan - and sometimes further afield - giving news and information on every sort of event and activity in the area, including those at village halls, churches and clubs.

There are 11 editions in the year, with December and January combined, and it is published as a black and white paper copy available in shops, pubs and churches in the coverage area. It is also available as a PDF in colour to subscribers by email.

Everyone involved in producing the magazine are volunteers.

Anyone interested in joining the editorial team needs to have computer - preferably Office 365 - and organisational skills, plus up to 20 flexible hours a month available in at least four months of the year.
