A ROAD was closed in Penryn after a tree fell and took part of a wall with it.
It was reported by traffic service Inrix that Commercial Road, the B3292, was closed as a result between Quay Hill and Church Road.
It said that strong winds had brought a tree down, bringing pieces of the wall down onto the road.
However, locals said that the tree was in fact down on Truro Hill, off Commercial Road.
Commercial Road was not affected and Truro Hill is now reported to be clear.
