A Falmouth clothing brand has been celebrating the achievements of its apprentices as part of National Apprenticeship Week.

Seasalt currently has 17 apprentices within the business, working across a range of specialisms including accounting, HR, retail management and customer services.

This year’s National Apprenticeship Week, which runs from February 3-7, has the theme Look Beyond and so Seasalt celebrated the diversity and value that apprenticeships bring to individuals and organisations, especially within Seasalt.

The brand hosted its own apprenticeship celebration event on February 4 and celebrated the commitment and achievements of apprentices and their mentors throughout Seasalt.

Georgia Blundell, Seasalt’s learning and development co-ordinator, said: “As it is National Apprenticeship Week, we took the opportunity to celebrate our apprentices’ commitment and achievements throughout the business. We were really pleased that Paul Hayes, our CEO, was able to join us and present the awards for Rising Star, Apprenticeship Advocate and Work Based Mentor.

"As well as these awards, we were able to present certificates to our apprentices who had completed their qualifications. It was a great opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication that all of our apprentices contribute to Seasalt on a daily basis.”
