Falmouth Marine Band presented cheques worth a total of £1,950 to local charities.
A presentation evening was hosted in the council chambers last week by town mayor Steve Eva.
He said: "I am pleased to be a part of the evening and on behalf of the town council would like to thank the Falmouth Marine Band for their continued support of local good causes and for organising the carnival every year."
The band dedicated the evening to former member Tony Sachse, who sadly passed away on Christmas Eve. A minute's applause was held in his memory.
Funds were raised by the band at this year's Falmouth Carnival.
The organisations that received the donations were: Embrace Dance and Fitness, Starlight Children’s Theatre, Falmouth Crypt Preschool, Falcare, Supreme Stars Majorettes, Gyllynvase Surf Lifesaving Club, Falmouth Youth Rugby, Falmouth Lifeboat – Crew Fund, Last Chance Hotel, Cornwall Children's Hospice South West, Friends of Falmouth Hospital, Scruffy Mutt Dance Company and Invictus Trust.
