Falmouth Town FC’s league cup match today has been delayed after their opponents were caught up in a crash on the A30.
Falmouth Town were due to kick off against Torridgeside at 2.30pm, in the third round of the Walter C Parson League Cup taking place at Bickland Park.
However, the visiting team’s coach was left stuck in traffic on the A30, following a crash on Bodmin Moor.
The westbound carriageway was left blocked following a multi-vehicle accident at Codda, between Bolventor and Jamaica Inn, in the roadworks area late this morning.
After making slow progress through the crash scene, Torridgeside have now arrived at Falmouth home ground and kick-off is expected to take place at 2.45pm.
The winner of the match will face St Blazey in the quarter finals.
